TOM ROCK RETIRING AT NEXT AGM AFTER A LIFETIME OF SERVICE TO EVERTON S.A

Our chairman Tom Rock is retiring at the next AGM after an incredible 37 years with the club. His influence and guidance and friendship over the years, cannot be underestimated.

The club owes Tom a debt of gratitude, that is difficult to explain in words. His unreserved dedication, loyalty and support cannot be replaced. Whoever takes on the role has a huge challenge ahead filling his shoes.

We would collectively like to wish Tom a happy retirement, and a well earned rest from swimming matters, though I am told, with a grandchild on the way, he will not be putting his feet up any time soon.

Good luck Tom and thank you.

Another stalwart of Everton S.A who is stepping down as Gala Secretary at the next AGM is Neil White. He has been an ever present on poolside for over 15 years, his experience and dedication over those years will be sorely missed.

His expertise at running gala’s is irreplaceable and it is as a result of his commitment to the club that we are in a healthy position in the future to flourish as a club.

Thank you Neil for all you have done for the club

They say good things come in threes, and our treasurer Steve Templeton is stepping down at the next AGM after 5 years and a host of sleepless nights, burning the midnight oil prior to the monthly committee meetings, in order to get the books to balance.

After only 15 minutes hand over 5 years ago, Steve has done an exceptional job for the club and our finances have never looked better.

Thank you Steve.
