A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER AT PONDS FORGE

Liverpool Echo write up on Rotherham Metro Graded Meet by reporter Joe Co The weekend saw a trip over the Pennines to the Rotherham Metro Graded Meet at Ponds Forge Everton were well represented with William Stamper in great form collecting five gold and three silver medals. James Dixon picked up two golds in the A grade and one in the B grade. In the B grade Megan Templeton set a number of Personal Best’s as she returned home with four golds, a silver and three bronze medals. Dominic Workman ended the weekend with three golds and a bronze with Callum Cheung adding two golds, three silver and two bronze to the gold he won in the A grade 400m Freestyle. Jacob Irving, Kimberley Lunt and Maisie Taylor were also amongst many medal winners

After two very long days in Sheffield, everyone who swam for ESA in the gala did themselves proud. Some amazing swims with virtually all submitted times for the events smashed.

Multiple Golds, Silvers and Bronze handed to Everton swimmers in numerous events

By the end of play Saturday ESA had won 11 golds 12 Silvers and 12 Bronze

A huge thank you to Neil and to the poolside helpers Claire and Annette, who did a fantastic job looking after the swimmers.

The biggest thank you goes to all the parents who spent time and money over the two days to be there at Sheffield. Roll on next year.
