MINI SWIM AND SUMMER PICNIC

To all swimmers at ESA

Whilst the older swimmers have got back to competitive  swimming after a long absence due to COVid, the younger swimmers have missed out on our Mini Swims. These swims are aimed at the younger and lower end groups, and is to prepare them for competition and to get used to swimming in a 25m pool.

To that end, we have decided to set aside 9th July at Knowsley to have such an event.

Groups LTS2 up to Group4 will get the chance to compete in the Mini gala, which should take place from 14:00 – 15:30.

We then intend to get any swimmers from Bee squad and InterA, who may not have competed in Sheffield the week before, as well as any that did and want to swim again to compete in a small “In house” gala over limited distances and across all strokes.

The second “In house” gala will take place immediately after the mini swim from 15:30 – 17:00 on 9th July.

At the end of the swimming session  everyone including parents will be invited to a Summer Picnic at St Edwards where the parents will be able to relax and have a few beers or wines. Bring your own picnic and the children can enjoy a game of rounders.

Entry forms have been sent out, but in the meantime save the date in your diaries.
