ESA swimmers excel again at M & Ds

Everton SA came a very credible joint 5th in the A Final of the M & D series of galas this weekend. There were incredible swims with many PBs being broken. The competition was very strong with teams fielding a string of National swimmer’s. Well done to all those that took part. An amazing achievement to reach this very competitive final. Thank you to all the coaches and for those who supported us over the long weekend. Final Result Crosby 231 Prescot 215 Bridgefield 175 Halton 161 Garston & Everton 133

Latest news from Round 3 of the M & Ds.

Everton SA have qualified for the A Final along with Bridgefield, Garston, Halton, Precot and Crosby.

The Final will take place on June 18th at Wavertree from 15:30 – 18:00

Good luck to all swimmers and well done for getting to the final.

Final results in respect of scores (pending validation) were: a very respectable second to winners Halton, and a considerable gap to third placed Garston.

  • Woodchurch 124
  • Halton 261
  • Everton 235
  • Garston 209
  • Formby 111
  • Runcorn 97

We are awaiting the results of the other six clubs before we know whether we have got into the Cup (top 6 clubs) or the Shield (lower 6 clubs).

There were amazing / stand out performances across the board but our 10/11 year old absolutely excelled themselves and swam their hearts out followed by our 12/13 year old- we had 8 individual winners, 5 medley /. relay winning teams and lots of closely fought second / third places especially in the older age groups and across the 36 events with us being pipped in both cannons by Halton.

Well done to all who took part and to the many poolside helpers, who gave up their time on the day.

We await confirmation whether we are fighting for the cup or the shield.
