Matthew Rooney proudly represented Everton Swimming Association in the British Championships, held at Ponds Forge Sheffield.
Held between 5th -10th April, this events is also the trial for the Junior Worlds in June.
Matthew swam in heat 102 – 50m backstroke and with a very respectable time of 28.51 finished 7th in his heat.
An amazing achievement for Matthew himself and kudos to the coaches of Everton SA.
