We have been informed by Knowsley Leisure Centre’s management that as of Wednesday 14 October the facility will be closed for an initial period of 4 weeks. The lock down restrictions imposed by the Government’s new guidance for Merseyside was issued on Monday 12 October. Our appreciation goes out to the Management and Staff at the pool who have all worked alongside us to provide and maintain a safe environment for us all.
As you may expect St Edwards College is currently looking at the implications of the Governments decision in relation to their own sports facilities, and will liaise with us as soon as they can to confirm if they too must close the pool.
